Simulation time of a single generation increases with network size. We ran the EA 25 times for oscillating networks of different sizes N (from 3 to 42 nodes). We recorded the average simulation time, T, for a single generation. Error bars represent standard deviation. By calculating log10(T)=αlog10(N)+β we found α = 1.7-1.8 implying that simulation time increases nearly quadratically with network size
