From: Informed walks: whispering hints to gene hunters inside networks’ jungle
The layout of the Informed Walks model. Starting from a randomly selected gene and pathway (Starting Points), the algorithm identifies all genes that are involved in the specific pathway. The shortest paths from the starting point/gene (yellow color) to each gene of the pathway (red color) are calculated and the walker moves to the gene with the minimum shortest path
